Product Description

The Diacell® Bragg-LT(G) & Bragg-LT(G) Plus are the cryogenic versions of the Bragg-(G) and Bragg-(G) Plus cells, respectively.  Diacell® Bragg-LT(G) uses standard design anvils and beryllium support plates, whereas the Bragg-LT(G) Plus uses conical tungsten carbide support plates and conical anvils.

Naturally, it is also possible to convert a Bragg-LT(G) to a Bragg-LT(G) Plus (and vice-versa) by replacing the hemisphere, lower plate, anvil support plates and anvils.  Please enquiry for more details.

The Diacell® Bragg-LT(G) & Bragg-LT(G) Plus are suitable for use in several commercial cryostats.  Because these cells are gas membrane-driven their use is limited to not less than 6 K due to the gas-to-solid phase change in He at 5.2 K when at 200 bar gas pressure.

Note: If the diamond anvil cell is to be used a low temperature, a low temperature relief valve will need to be fitted on the gas line. This low temperature relief is available from Almax easyLab alongside our GM or iGM controllers option.

For X-Ray diffraction and related work at low temperatures.
