easyLab® Mcell 10


High-Pressure Cell for the MPMS
The pressure cell for the MPMS approved, endorsed and recommended by Quantum Design.

The easyLab® Mcell 10 module has been specifically engineered to enable end-users to perform SQUID magnetometer measurements under high-pressures up to 10 kbar and low temperatures.

The easyLab® Mcell 10 module is composed of:
- Mcell 10 hydrostratic pressure cell
- Mpress desktop mini-press hydraulic ram system included
- Accessories and consumables
- One year warranty.

The easyLab® Mcell 10 High-pressure Cell Module is supplied as a complete package. It provides end-users with all the necessary primary components of the pressure cell as well as interfacing components to the sample rod of Quantum Design's MPMS.

Very importantly, the easyLab® Mcell 10 module is also supplied with the purposely-designed desktop hydraulic mini-press ram (Mpress) and all the necessary consumables to enable 20 measurements campaigns.

A hydraulic oil press ram is required in order to apply pressure onto the pressure cell. An easyLab® Mpress is included as part of the the Mcell 10 module. The Mpress is a very small footprint desktop hydraulic ram which has been specifically designed to facilitate all the pressurisation operations of the easyLab® Mcell 10 with the greatest safety in mind.

The easyLab® Mpress includes:
- Hand pump
- Hydraulic hose, cylinder and oil pressure gauge
- Pressure cell interfacing socks
- Extraction piston
- Loading and unloading die
- Safety goggles
- Cell centering ring.

Although this module has been particularly designed and engineered for the MPMS of Quantum Design, the system can also be used with other magnetic measurements devices from other manufacturers, but this may require some adaptations.
