Description
The Optiprexx photoluminescence system is a stand-alone, turnkey system for ruby photoluminescence measurements. Ruby fluorescence allows the in-situ determination of pressure in a diamond anvil cell.
The Optiprexx PLS FLUX 450 nm is equipped with a highly sensitive spectrometer and is recommended for fluorescence measurements at low light levels. The grating of up to 1800 lines/mm provides a spectral resolution of 0.06 nm from 680 nm to 764 nm. The combination of high sensitivity and high resolution makes the FLUX version suitable for very demanding conditions where ruby fluorescence is weak (small sample, low temperature, use of a fibre-optic cable,…).
For pressure measurements above 50 GPa, the blue laser with a wavelength of 450 nm is recommended to enhance the excitation of the Ruby and to optimize the fluorescence signal.
The Optiprexx PLS FLUX 450 mn is extremely easy to use and very compact, with the smallest possible footprint. It includes the excitation laser (450 nm @ 50 mW), transfer optics, optical observation stage, XYZ positioning stage and our advanced data acquisition software. The system connects to a computer (not supplied) equipped with a USB port to perform the measurements.
The control and acquisition software, Optiprexx High Pressure Manager, allows full spectrometer control, data acquisition and automatic or manual pressure determination.
