Description
Gas membranes (also known as diaphragm bellows) allow the remote control of pressure in a diamond anvil cell. By connecting the membrane to an appropriate controller and a high pressure gas bottle, the in-situ pressure of the DAC may be changed in a accurate, reproducible and safe fashion.
This is a compression kit suitable for the SymmDAC 60 from Almax easyLab (clamping screws on a 38 mm PCD). When used in conjunction with the compression kit the working distance of the SymmDAC 60 increases to 23 mm. A decompression kit is also available and can be used in conjunction with the is compression kit.
The kit includes:
- Flat gas membrane OD 44;
- Casing to accommodate the SymmDAC 60.
