Diacell® CryoDAC-atto
Micro-spectroscopy, Pmax = 20 GPa, Tmin = 1.6 K, WD = 11 mm, A = 40°
Diacell® CryoDAC Series
- Specially engineered to fit seamlessly onto the sample holder of the attocube cryostats: attoDRY 1000, attoDRY 2100
- The height of this DAC and the very short working distance ensure that the sample is located very close to the observing top window of the cryostat
- The cell was originally designed for micro-Raman measurements, but it is also suitable for any other micro-spectroscopy technique
- The Diacell® CryoDAC-atto has a numerical aperture of 0.34 and it enables electrical work via its side ports
- Maximum pressures of up to above 20 GPa may be obtained with Diacell® CryoDAC- atto

Description
The Diacell® CryoDAC-atto was originally designed for micro-Raman work in the attoDRY800 cryostat from attocube. However, this cell can also be used for other micro-spectroscopy techniques, such as imaging and high resolution photoluminescence under high pressure. Provisions have also been made to enable electrical work.
The Diacell® CryoDAC- atto has been engineered to fit seamlessly onto the sample mount of the attoDRY 800, attoDRY 1000, attoDRY 2100. For more information about this specific microscopy cryostat, please refer to attocube webpage.
The cell comes equipped with a pair of 2.50 mm diameter Diacell design diamond anvils.
The cell is supplied aligned and ready for use.

FAQs
What is the maximum pressure I can achieve with the CryoDAC Atto and a given culet size?
Culet size (µm) | 500 | 600 | 800 | 1000 |
Pmax (GPa) (*) | 20 | 14 | 8 | 5 |
(*) The Pmax values are only indicative. The maximum pressure achievable with a DAC is influenced by many others experimental parameters, like the gasket characteristics (material, thickness and hole size) or the pressure transmitting medium.
