Description
The Tpress is a miniature mechanical press designed as an accessory for the Almax easyLab TozerDAC X-Ray. It offers increased precision and consistency in controlling the in situ pressure relative to the applied force. It is highly recommended as a necessary tool for the safe use of the TozerDAC.
The Tpress consists of two main modules: the press and the force reader.
Based on a system of lever arms, the press generates forces of up to 5,000 N. The lever arms, in conjunction with an upper press and a set of spring washers inside the Tpress, apply the load to the cell.
The load applied to the high pressure cell is measured by a compression load cell mounted inside the Tpress and connected to a force reader that is cross-calibrated with the load cell.
